Emilia Romagna Region
The Emilia Romagna Region decided to adopt an innovative working method that would allow regional councillors to work remotely when necessary, choosing Cedat85 technology and in particular the D4DPASMART solution for videoconferencing.
This choice proved particularly useful during the Covid-19 pandemic because it allowed the administration to continue to be operational, while still giving citizens the answers they needed at such a delicate time for the community.
Cedat85's Solution
Thanks to DIGITAL4DEMOCRACY and D4DPASMART, the Emilia Romagna Region now has a service that holding meetings and assemblies in remote and hybrid mode possible as well as carrying out voting procedures for assemblies in both open and secret modes while having the minutes of all assemblies available quickly and easily for maximum transparency.
The inaugural meeting of the Health Commission, held in April 2020 at the peak of the pandemic, was carried out for the first time in fully digital mode: a session lasting over four hours in which the great value of technology in supporting an unprecedented situation became clear.
