The Cassa di Risparmio di Lucca Foundation is a charity that since 1992 has supported and created strategic projects aimed at the development and growth of the province of Lucca in Italy. Their main focus is on art, culture, social & scientific research, education and training, young people, and community welfare.
The Foundation chose CEDAT85 and adopted CABOLO® to automate the conversion of the audio recordings of all the meetings of its mediation bodies, a work that was done manually by the secretariat until now.
Giacomo Fedi, Head of Organisational and IT Services of the Foundation, explained to us which CABOLO® features determined the choice among the various tools examined during the selection phase, and the advantages obtained only a few months after its adoption.
In particular, Fedi highlights how CABOLO®’s Sincro.doc plugin allows the Foundation to easily and quickly synchronise audio and text, which has made it possible to reduce processing time by two thirds. The secretariat that checks the texts transcribed by CABOLO® reports an accuracy of 95% requiring a very short revision time.
Another important aspect is that CABOLO® does not need any internet connection, which is a guarantee for the confidentiality of the contents of the meetings and the security of the data which is highly crucial for the Foundation.
